Capital Improvements for Dripping Springs High School
Estimated Project Cost: $51,137,000
The Capital Improvement project for Dripping Springs High School will include HVAC replacement, mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs, safety updates including vape detectors and security segmenting of competition areas, renovations to the original fieldhouse, lighting improvements and updated finishes.
Phase 1 of this project is included in the 2025 bond and would occur during the summer of 2026 and 2027. Future phases to renovate the remainder of the campus are anticipated to be included in a future bond.
Campus Background
The current Dripping Springs High School campus opened in 1996 as Dripping Springs Middle School. The two campuses swapped locations in 2010. Today, the school has a 2,500 student capacity and has 2,564 students enrolled.
