Choir

Emphasizing high standards in music making through a variety of musical styles, the award-winning Dripping Springs Choir program is a consistent UIL Sweepstakes recipient with numerous students earning individual accolades each year. Eight students have been named to the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Choir in school history, with at least one student earning the honor every year since 2021. Last year, a school-record 25 students were named to the Region 18 Choir with 12 students advancing to Area E auditions. In 2024, an audio recording of the Chamber Choir's performance of the piece "Veniki" by Feodosiy Rubtsov was named first place in the Region 18 Large High School Division, competing in Next Level Performances Choral Submission Contest. The choir has also earned back-to-back Division I (Superior) Awards for the past two years in the San Antonio Madrigal Festival.
The Dripping Springs Choir is comprised of five performing ensembles, who appear at events and concerts throughout the school year.
