Volunteering at DSISD

Dripping Springs ISD welcomes and encourages parents and stakeholders to volunteer at our campuses! We appreciate those who volunteer their time to work with our students and staff.

Being a volunteer is fun, fulfilling, and rewarding! Volunteers help teachers, support educational and enrichment programs, and positively contribute to the DSISD community. Volunteer placement is based on campus needs and determined by an individual's skills, interests, preferences, and availability times.

By completing this registration process, potential volunteers acknowledge and agree that Dripping Springs ISD will run a criminal background check as a condition to approval as a volunteer. Furthermore, volunteers acknowledge and agree that Dripping Springs ISD may periodically re-run such criminal background checks for as long as volunteering continues in our schools. Volunteers will need to renew their registration each year.

If for any reason a volunteer application is not approved, HR will notify the applicant and, if requested, will provide the information used in making the decision along with details of how to correct any inaccurate background results with the credit reporting agency that provided them to us.
