
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING: Dripping Springs ISD will hold a public meeting on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss DSISD’s rating on the state’s financial accountability system. The meeting will be held in the Center for Learning & Leadership Board Room (300 Sportsplex Drive).

The agenda has been posted for the Oct. 21 DSISD Board of Trustees agenda review meeting: http://bit.ly/3ikL65o. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Center for Learning & Leadership (CLL) and be streamed live at www.dsisdtx.us/boardlivestream. A workshop meeting will also be held at 5:00 p.m. in the CLL.

DSISD will hold attendance zoning community meetings on Thursday, Oct. 17 (10 AM & 6 PM) and Tuesday, Oct. 22 (10 AM & 6 PM) in the Center for Learning & Leadership to present “starter map” options for new elementary and middle school attendance zones that will go into effect for the fall of 2025.

DSISD hosted the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce Leadership Dripping Springs cohort for Education Day on Tuesday. Participants spent the day with district leaders touring campuses, learning about school finance, CTE programs, district growth, and strategic priorities for the future. DSISD hosted Taxpayer Tuesday to more than 30 attendees yesterday at Dripping Springs Elementary! DSISD Chief Financial Officer Gina Mitschke provided an in-depth presentation on school finance while Principal Kellie Raymond gave attendees a tour of the newly-renovated campus.







The Dripping Springs High School HOSA program will sponsor a blood drive on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 9 AM-3 PM in the front DSHS parking lot. Participants must be at least 17 years old and 115 pounds to donate. Please eat a full meal and bring a photo ID before donating. All participants will receive a We Are Blood T-shirt. On Monday, the Board of Trustees visited Dripping Springs Elementary to check in on the completed renovations, visit several classrooms, and learn about the campus's goals around leadership, learning, campus culture, and student attendance.

The Dripping Springs Middle School Principal Advisory Council presented at Monday's board meeting. The students discussed the campus's Lighthouse Team and how the group is improving student engagement and bringing student voice to DSMS! Way to go, Tigers!
