SAT / ACT Information
School-day SAT Exams:
For tests given during the school-day, students will register and pay online through DSISD. An email will be sent out near the beginning of the registration window, with the registration link and passcode. The state of Texas pays for each student to take either the SAT or ACT once for free during the school day. Students are welcome to take the tests additional times, for a fee.
Saturday Tests:
For Saturday tests, students will go directly to the SAT or ACT website to register and pay. These tests are offered on the DSHS campus. However, students can select any testing location they would prefer. *If you do not plan to take the SAT and wish to use your free voucher for the Saturday ACT instead, please contact the DSHS Campus Testing Coordinator to set this up.
