The Dripping Springs High School PTSA is excited to host the Harlem Wizards, a professional show basketball team, this Sunday, February 23rd at 2 pm at the Dripping Springs High School Competition Gym. They’ll take on teachers and staff from all DSISD schools and Hays County Sheriff Hipolito in a fun-filled community event. It'll be a great day to get out and enjoy some family fun! The Literati Book Fair purchasing days begin Monday, February 24th through Friday, February 28th in the RSE CL&I! Preview days have been great this week!
Family Shopping Day will be in conjunction with PTA One World Night on Thursday, February 27th. Shopping starts at 6:30!
Literati Gift Cards can be purchased for students to use at the fair when they shop in person. (Gift Cards are Literati's version of the Scholastic e-Wallet.) They can also be used to shop online! Click Here.

Texas PTA Rally Day: It’s not too late to join us for Texas PTA’s Rally Day on Monday, February 24th, 2025, at the Capitol in Austin, TX. RSVP Here: PTA: 2025 TX PTA Rally Day
The day will include:
Opportunities to meet with legislators to discuss key issues impacting education
Rally on the Capitol steps to unite and amplify our collective voice.
Informative sessions to equip attendees with tools for effective advocacy and understanding Texas PTA's legislative priorities

One World Night: NEXT WEEK Rooster Springs PTA will host its annual One World Night on Thursday, February 27th, at 6:30pm. Families are signing up to host cultural tables - Join us! An exciting twist to the cultural tables this year - Every table will provide a fun fact students can learn and receive a stamp on their OWN passport! Please sign-up to host a table by TODAY, Feb 20th, so we can add participating countries to the Passport and prepare stamps/stickers. We are also looking for participants for our fashion show. All families are invited to tour the culture tables hosted by RSES families, watch the fashion show, and enjoy a musical performance by our own 4th-5th grade choir students. But wait, there’s more! The book fair will stay open late during One World Night. We hope lots of families will participate and join us in celebrating our cultural diversity!
2025-2026 PTA Leadership: Over the next 6 weeks the PTA’s Nominating Committee will be seeking individuals interested in serving on the 2025-2026 Executive Board. The committee will publish a slate of candidates a week before the April 8th Membership meeting where the actual vote takes place. If you are interested in serving on the 2025-2026 RSE PTA board, or if you would like to nominate someone, please fill out the 2025-26 RSE PTA Board Officer Nomination Form by March 14th.
